The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

The 7 th Gold Award Ceremony under The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award was held on 2 February, 2020 in the capital, says a press release. The ceremony was hosted by
HE Mr. Robert Chatterton Dickson, the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh at his residence. The ceremony was vigorous and lively with the presence of Mr. A. K.
Shamsuddin Khan- Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of The DEA Foundation Bangladesh and other honorable BoT members, Mr. Rizwan Bin Farouq- Chairman of the
Executive Committee (EC) and rest other respectable EC members, and Brig Gen Kaiser Ahmed (Retd)- National Director of the foundation.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a designed programme that allows diversified youth having an age group from 14-24 to experience activities that have a positive impact on their lives and thus, helps to achieve life skills and leadership. This year Gold Award Certificates went to 292 students of ABC International School, Bangladesh International Tutorial, Chittagong Grammar School, Chittagong, CIDER International School, Independent University, Bangladesh, Jahangirnagar University, Maple Leaf International School, Open Award Center, South Breeze School, The Aga Khan School,Dhaka, University of Dhaka, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh- who successfully accomplished all the required activities of Gold level.
